It’s available for iPhone & Android.

What’s in the newsletter?

Each edition will bring together useful local information, stories, and opportunities to participate. Readers can expect community updates, practical resources, local business and sponsor features, and a little trivia along the way.

The October edition begins with something mountain residents know well: a change in the weather can change the day’s plans. It looks at preparing for the trip down the hill and the return home, especially when family members or pets are waiting.

There’s also an invitation to share experience. “The View from Here” asks readers what they wish they’d known before their first winter in the mountains, with a link to the Facebook conversation where neighbors can contribute their own lessons.

Regular updates, with something worth sharing

The newsletter will arrive as regular updates, with each edition shaped by what’s happening locally and what readers will find useful.

Some stories need more room on the website. Other information works best as a timely reminder in an email. Together, the two formats make it easier to discover a story, find a resource, or learn about an opportunity before it passes
