FireSafe38: Local Wildfire Preparedness

The Mill Creek Canyon Fire Safe Council serves Mountain Home Village and Forest Falls through its public-facing program, FireSafe38.org.

The council is focused on helping connect residents with practical wildfire preparedness information, resources, and opportunities for community participation. Its work includes supporting greater awareness of defensible space and home hardening, vegetation management resources such as chipper services, and the effort toward becoming a Firewise USA community.

The Mill Creek Canyon Fire Safe Council is also represented in the Inland Empire Fire Safe Alliance, helping keep our local communities connected with the larger network of Fire Safe Councils, agencies, and wildfire preparedness resources throughout the region.

FireSafe38 is guided by its Board of Directors and Board Advisor, with the goal of bringing useful information back to the communities we serve.
